Job Description:
Logistics position in a small team that requires a variety of skills and varied responsibilities depending upon the business needs on any given day.

The job responsibilities could be any of the following as is required....
Package and process domestic and international small parcel and freight shipments, including staging and reshipment of central purchases . Track shipments as requested.
Receive and inspect all inbound freight, including sorting and staging for delivery as quickly and accurately as possible, with hardware unpacking as needed. Perform SAP receiving and other transactions for Purchase Orders including central purchasing, asset tagging, and associated documentation management.
Coordinate transportation of goods for trade shows and symposiums, managing delivery deadlines and requirements and supporting logistics at large trades shows onsite. Maintain trade show equipment inventory. *Manage the daily activities for processing hardware revenue/loan and Spare Parts Orders, assuring the completeness and correctness of all transactions. Facilitate the shipment of the parts to the customer, coordinating all the logistics activity with the carriers, and close the communication loop to assure orders are completed properly to the customers satisfaction.
Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining policies and controls to ensure compliance with U.S. and international government export and import rules and regulations.
Manage all pick-up and deliveries as required on and off campus, including equipment liquidation services. Use company truck and forklift and keep them in good working order.
Maintain designated quality processes and assist in the development of new quality documents as it becomes necessary. Maintain various daily, monthly and quarterly reports and metrics. Coordinate Work Requests on behalf of Corporate Logistics, meet with IT to define requirements, testing and implementation schedules. Make suggestions to improve business process in the areas of manufacturing, quality and distribution.


Job Qualifications:
Experience in transportation services and logistics
Experience in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel & Sharepoint
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
SAP Experience a plus.
Trained and authorized to operative fork lift equipment.
Experience with International shipments, export law, exportation and importation desired.
Able to work in a warehouse environment with regular lifting of up to 75 pounds.
BA or BS Degree or 4 years relevant work experience preferred
