Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics @ PHD




As a senior analyst at PHD’s Digital Analytics team, you will be challenged to push beyond the status quo, always driving to uncover new methodologies and efficiencies for the PHD team and clients alike. While collaborating with planners, strategists, and other analysts, you will be expected to manage projects to successful completion. Through data-driven insights, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a client’s marketing strategy.


Areas of Responsibility:


  • Managing day to day client relationships
  • Anticipating client’s needs and proactively developing solutions to address them
  • Generating and communicating clear, compelling and actionable insights
  • Providing thought leadership of ad-tech and measurement technologies
  • Identifying opportunities to continuously improve processes
  • Provide on-job training to analysts and assistant analysts
  • Presenting reports and proposals to clients during monthly and weekly phone calls




  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences or business/marketing related fields. Advanced degree (MBA / MS) is preferred.




  • 2-4 years of experience in a quantitative data driven field
  • A passion for both digital marketing and data analytics
  • Independent thinker with strong ability to prioritize tasks within teams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a number of concurrent tasks, while mentoring and managing a team of analysts
  • Ability to move beyond descriptive analytics and employ more sophisticated techniques (predictive & prescriptive analytics)
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical ideas to multiple audiences both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well with others and work in cross functional teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ad technologies, how they work, and how to troubleshoot


Desired Technical Skills


  • Experience in SAS, SPSS, R or other advanced analytics software packages
  • Experience in ad-serving and web analytics tools (Google DFA, Atlas, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.)
  • Experience / familiarity with concepts of database design and SQL
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and  PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and Javascript
