Field Applications Specialist - Clinical Microbiology - South East UK - To £35K
This company are global leaders in the supply of in vitro diagnostic instruments and consumables to both the Clinical and Industrial Microbiology market. They wish to recruit an additional Application Specialist who will work from home visiting customers in the South East territory. This includes Kent, Surrey, Sussex, London, Northern Home Counties and East Anglia. The focus of the role will be to support customers with products in Clinical Microbiology, for instance in Identification and Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing, Infectious disease testing and Molecular Diagnostics.
You will be responsible for all elements of field based technical product support for customers and colleagues in the clinical setting, resolving product complaints and laboratory investigations where necessary. You will get involved with instrument demonstrations and all aspects of applications support, working alongside your colleagues in sales and marketing as required.
The ideal person will have a strong technical background in Microbiology and will have worked in a Clinical NHS Microbiology laboratory. You will be able to diagnose and resolve technical issues. You have strong communication and presentation skills, confidence and self-belief. You are flexible, adaptable and are able to work alone or as part of a team.
