This specialist manufacturer of test systems wishes to appoint an experienced mechanical design engineer to join a sizeable projects team working towards the creation of bespoke engineering solutions for high end customers.

The crucial element in the role is to ensure functional reliability and safe use of these high speed precision made machines for each bespoke customer requirement by taking each project from an initial design brief right through to the creation of a test and inspection schedule and all the steps inbetween.

The ideal candidate will be a practical and well organised team player who is able to combine a strong understanding of engineering principles, a creative problem solving approach and an awareness of the commercial drivers that impact of project effectiveness.

You should have either a good mechancial engineering degree and at least 5 years post graduation mechanical design experience or be an apprentice trained mechanical engineer who is time served in design.
