Hampton’s are currently working in partnership with a small private company who require an experienced Nurse Qualified Nursing Home Manager for their for their 90 bedded Nursing home. The home is based in Northern Ireland and provides care for the Elderly with Dementia, EMI and other associated nursing needs.
The ideal candidate must have an active RGN PIN and have strong staff management skills, and the ability to lead a turnaround project and see it through to completion.
This is an exciting opportunity for a home manager to fulfil their skillset and expertise in turning around projects. The client has exciting new developments and aspirations to expand the organisation and grow staff and their career prospects.
The role reports into the Operations Director and will be working alongside the Deputy Manager.
Main responsibilities:
The successful candidate will monitor performance of all staff, ensuring standards are improved and the expectations set out by RQIA are exceeded. They will also be responsible for carrying out the requirements set by RQIA to bring this service back to running as a compliant home.
The ideal Candidate will have previous experience of management within a Nursing / Care Home or similar environment and have excellent CQC / RQIA knowledge and Turnaround experience.
Other essential criteria:
· Active PIN as RGN
· Multi-site experience
· Experience as a Care Manager, Clinical Lead or Unit Manager
· Experience in working in a large nursing home with 50 plus beds
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: c£60,000 + Bonus package + Company Benefit
