Position: Sr Sales Consultant (Technology)
Location: Montreal

Your Responsibilities
You'll serve as the master of the technical agenda with responsibility for explaining, training, analyzing and selling the technical aspects of the solution to customers. Working with Sales Account Managers, you'll manage the technical sales cycle to ensure new business opportunities come to fruition and generate revenue for the company. On a weekly basis, you'll proactively engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our products and effectively communicate the key differentiators. To set the stage for successful implementations you'll assists customers with initial product evaluations and performance testing. Connecting the dots between the technical requirements of a project and the business requirements is elemental to the success of this position. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Respond promptly to customer questions with deep, detailed technical explanations of product features and capabilities
Serve as a technical coach to your colleagues in sales, professional services, product management and engineering
Provide instruction and support for developers, which includes reviewing customer designs and providing advice and recommendations for optimal product use
Support regional and local marketing events to drive opportunity creation and execution.

Required Skills : Your Qualifications
Written and verbal proficiency in English and French
B.S. in computer science or computer engineering (or equivalent)
3-5 years of Sales Consulting and/or Implementation experience in the data or information management space (e.g. Data Integration, Data Quality, Analytics, Master Data Management, Information Lifecycle Management, Complex Event Processing, EAI)
Ability to develop sample applications for PoC purposes as required by the client.
Programming experience in C, C++, Java, or .NET a strong plus
Multi-threaded software experience a strong plus
Understanding of messaging-middleware technologies, including IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS/RV, etc.
