Position: Personal Lines Account Executive (Insurance)
Location: Markham


1.Following the Navigators sales system and Market Matrix, identify prospective clients through:

i) self-developed x-date lists
ii) networking with own Centres-of-Influence,
iii) analysis of mono-line and former client lists prepared by Navigators,
iv) internal cross-referrals and
v) response to company advertising and marketing initiatives;

2.Develop submissions, for engaged clients, (in conjunction with personal lines underwriting staff) to markets that will meet present/emerging needs of the client; close sales;
3. Hand-off responsibility for provision of service to clients, once sale is complete, to the relevant Account Manager for ongoing service; no Renewal responsibilities (or commission);
4. Work in the office at least one evening per week for sales and prospecting;
5. Record all client/prospect contact in the Activity section of the SigXp broker management system;
6. Prepare weekly sales activity reports for timely review by the Sales Manager;
7. Actively participate in meetings with Sales Manager and members of the Personal Sales team;
8. Identify opportunities for, and facilitate the ability of, other members of the sales team to provide service or products into the client organization, such as policies for business principals, Directors or employees.

R.I.B.O. licensed or eligible to write exam by virtue of having completed relevant training before beginning work;
One to two years PL sales experience or equivalent experience selling financial services;
Very good computer skills;
Additional languages an asset.
