Position: PeopleSoft Senior Business Technical Analyst
Location: Toronto
Salary: 80k-100k

PeopleSoft Senior Business Technical Analyst (SBTA) is responsible for the overall definition of system requirements and working with the Customer to ensure delivery of a system to meet their needs. The SBTA drives Customer requirements conversations, documents business requirements and needs, helps translate into high level design and participates in the testing process. The SBTA is a strong PeopleSoft reference for the client and team.

Requirements Gathering, Documentation, & Analysis
Lead client & system requirement sessions
Define/prioritize business requirements
Assist in PeopleSoft fit gap and Impact Analysis
Identify deviations from standard delivery model & manage these through appropriate change control.
Review & validate client requirements based on domain expertise & understanding of client's business process & challenges
Understand business requirements/convert them into specifications that fully represent client needs

Design, Development, & Support
Transfer business requisitions to the development team/support
Develop system-testing specifications
Attend Test Design walkthroughs/help verify plans & conditions will test all functions & features effectively
Review test plans, test cases to ensure all requisitions are covered, & docs are thorough
Contribute to system configuration & integration testing
Provide support in preparing critical User Acceptance scenarios
Support & manage UAT activity in conjunction with test team
Assist in deploying/migrating product within client environment
Act as subject matter expert for service & provide guidance to resolve detailed system-related issues

Project Planning, Tracking, & Reporting
Ensure that overall deliverable meets business need
Work with Delivery Lead to identify dependencies, opportunities, risks, costs, timelines, & assists with creation of delivery plan
Participate in project review and key client meetings
Build business case to drive priorities on team
Work with stakeholders to determine if a change falls under change control
Manage & implement/support major system enhancements by establishing appropriate change mgmt procedures identifying scope changes, & coordinating multi service strategies & issues
Support rollout of new releases to products by ensuring both technical & plan mgmt needs are addressed
Perform client mgmt to anticipate needs, capitalize on opportunities, & deepen client relationships.
Process Management: Assist with creation of metrics to measure process & performance improvements
Recommend process improvements & identify opportunities to define/follow standard operating procedures
Ensure effective delivery of communication & change mgmt efforts related to processes & systems

Education & Certification:
Bachelor/Masters Degree in MIS or Computer Science or relevant business experience

Knowledge & Experience:
5+ years of PeopleSoft Payroll & HR Experience incl ver 9x
Experience gathering and documenting requisitions.
Experience creating use case models
Experience working with a standard development process
Experience with at least one major HRMS implementation in PeopleSoft
