Our client, a market leader in the Food Distribution industry currently require LGV C Drivers to join their successful business on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.
Candidates should possess the following-
- LGV C1 Licence (No more than six points)
- CPC
- DIGI Card
- Must be prepared to complete an average of 15 deliveries per day
- Must be prepared to use pick sheets to pick food in Ambient, Fresh and Frozen environments.
The role is a driver role and some handball will be expected. Experience of the Food Distribution industry is desirable but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a national Food Distribution company with great career prospects within a vastly growing industry.
The role is based in Bedford, and would be commutable from Dunstable, our client is situated close to public transportation links, parking facilities are available for staff, a canteen facility is available for all staff use.
Hours of Work are 0530 - 1630
Rates of Pay (PAYE) £10.72
Weekly Bonus £50 upon completion of training
Overtime Available, opportunities for training and permanent positions available for right candidate.
