Our client, a conservative business federation in Washington, DC who represents the interests of business owners on Capitol Hill, is looking to hire a Manager of Communications who has worked as a Press Secretary on Capitol Hill. In this role, you would be primarily responsible for maintaining outreach to members of the media and providing research and analytical support for the communications team and senior staff on IP-related issues. This position requires strong communication skills, both written and oral; strong skills in qualitative and quantitative analysis; and background and knowledge of IP, trade policy, technology policy, or Internet issues. You will coordinate media outreach, disseminate press releases and fact sheets, compile press clips, provide support for advocacy materials, and conduct research and written analysis in regards to overall messaging.
