Detailed Design Compliance Engineer

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Ensure that any design changes created at Yard are in compliance with project specifications, RF regulations and gain the necessary approvals prior to start of works.
  • Ensure materials are available and engineering deliverables are ready when required by Yard.
  • Work with fabrication supervision group to oversee and ensure compliance with Management of Change procedures for all design changes proposed tracking completion works
  • Technical query / RFI review and resolutions
  • Redline markup & As built coordination and completions for engineering change
  • As module fabrication progress from bulk installation to Completions work to support both PC&C and QC team on system and sub system completions ready for walk downs from an engineering perspective.
  • Identification, documentation and resolution and timely close out of Punchlist items where engineering input is necessary
  • Support the identification and resolution/ liquidation of known carry over where engineering intervention is necessary.
  • Assist PC&C team to ensure systems are ready for energization and that the necessary engineering and fabrication documentation is available and signed off and that the necessary ready for energization permits are issued and to provide engineering support as necessary to achieve this.
  • General inter-dept interface work and interfaces with home office and design centers acting on behalf of fabrication, PC&C and QC teams.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 10 years work experience in Oil & Gas industry
  • Proven experience in modules fabrication
