Key Job Accountabilities

·         Coordinates 3rd Party Vendor Inspector activities at vendors/sub vendors

·         Establishes a Procurement Quality Surveillance Plan for the PO as per the PQP

·         Day-to-day COMPANY representation with CONTRACTOR & VENDOR QAQC

·         Represents COMPANY at all Vendor/Sub vendor Pre-Inspection & QAQC Meetings

·         Assures compliance with the stated deliverables of the PO and COMPANY specifications

·         Schedules and assures COMPANY attendance as per approved I&TPs

·         Monitors, checks, endorses I&TP checksheets/test records for compliance

·         Monitors, tracks CONTRACTOR & VENDOR QAQC deficiency controls

·         Provides technical advice to PMT Engineering and Procurement on QAQC

·         Ensures accuracy, legibility and timely transmittal of QAQC reporting to PMT HVQS

·         Participates in PO and Documentation audits by CONTRACTOR & VENDOR QAQC

·         Maintains statistical QAQC records for the PO and advises adverse trends to HVQS

·         The PQS should be fluent in English (spoken and written)

·         Ability to communicate QAQC matters with Managers, Engineers and Shop Floor

·         The PQS must exhibit a high degree of computer literacy including office software

·         Persuasive man-management attributes are essential across all levels of the organization with an ability to establish and maintain open and responsive relationships

·         Ensure Company Lessons Learned are implemented and verified

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Required Experience / Qualifications
• 15 years in Vendor QAQC Surveillance in LNG production or energy industry projects
• Preferred: Bachelor or Associates Engineering qualification or diploma in mechanical or electrical discipline

Knowledge and/or Experience
• Strong coordination skills, extensive quality experience in responsible roles on major oil & gas engineering & construction projects
• Experience in facilitating & coordinating efforts to resolve interface issues
• Experience with conducting audits & assessing process-driven quality systems

Technical and Business Skills
• A thorough knowledge of codes and standards relating to pressure equipment vessels, piping and plant inspections in an overseas environment and working within a structured Quality Management System
• IRCA Audit Certification
• Pressure Equipment Directive, ATEX and PSSR familiarity
