Our market leading aerospace client based in Stevenage is currently looking for an experienced Systems engineer join a team of GNC/AOCS analysts to work on current and future space missions.
The successful candidate will have as a minimum a good degree in a numerate discipline and preferably qualifications targeted at the space engineering sector.
The successful Analyst will be expected to perform GNC/AOCS design & analysis activities throughout the full engineering lifecycle -
• From initial concept design through to support and validation.
• Producing the associated documentation (design justifications etc.)
• SW requirements for GNC/AOCS algorithms.
• Performance analysis documentation.
• Ability to develop SW to a prototype level (non-real time simulator development under C/Matlab).
Skills/Experience Required
Essential:
3 to 5 years’ experience on knowledge of dynamics, control, mathematical modelling, Matlab/Simulink, C/C++
Desirable:
Space industry experience including AOCS/GNC or robotics/automation + computer simulations
Education & Training
Essential:
Good degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline, qualifications with dynamics and control engineering content
Desirable:
Higher degree with some relevance to the space industry; higher degree with specialisation in robotics
