The Company
Our client, an established passenger vessel company on the South Coast of England, are looking for a Fleet Energy and Fuel Efficiency Manager to join their team.
The Role
As Fleet Energy and Fuel Efficiency Manager, you will report into the Head Of Fleet Operations. You will be responsible for coordinating the programme of energy and efficiency across the company’s fleet, providing support to departmental managers, and ensuring that all projects and initiatives are delivered in line within time and budget constraints.
This role will have a focus on project management, and the successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, ensuring they are managed well and run in line with safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Seagoing experience as Chief Engineer of Passenger Vessels
- Chief Engineer CoC
- Shorebased experience working on major projects such as Dry Dockings
- Clear understanding energy and fuel efficiency & operational issues
- Project management experience
- Up to date knowledge on legislation
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills
- Developed budgeting experience
- Strong leadership skills
