We are actively looking for a Business Analyst with experience working on ecommerce projects with an in-house technical team. The successful candidate will join a team of higly experience IT professionals at our Chester office playing a role in the full software development lifecycle. Salary - £30K - £40K
The Company We are a well structured company with a dedicated team of people focused on improving our ecommerce presence and the back office systems that support the whole operation. With this role we are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to take a step forward in their career. The successful BA will join a company who specialise in ecommerce, following Agile / Scrum methodologies and will have the opportunity to get involved at every stage of high profile, innovative Web Application / Software development projects. We are based in purpose built offices just outside Chester and have years of experience in their industry.
The Role Working alongside all areas of the business, including Project Managers and Developers, the ideal candidate will be comfortable liaising with stakeholders at every stage of a project. On each project, the successful Business Analyst will be heavily involved in requirements gathering, advising on the best possible solutions to the problems and documenting this at all stages to ensure that everybody involved in a project is clear on what is required. The majority of these projects will have a focus on improving existing systems and ensuring that the business is well set up to support future planned growth and changes. You will apply your knowledge from Day One, assessing the business needs and working out how to make use of the available resource to provide efficient, effective solutions. It is essential that the successful BA has an excellent level of attention to detail and top rate communication skills to ensure that nothing is lost in translation between various stakeholders. This is not a role for a shrinking violet and the successful Business Analyst will be expected to voice their opinions and offer means of improving workflow / system development / project processes. Your prior experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment will allow you to settle into the team quickly and will help ensure that you are using standard methodologies throughout projects.
