I am currently looking for a React Front-End Developer to work with a well-known online brand and to become an integral part of a market leading product! You’ll be working in an agile cloud-first environment and as the successful React Front-End Developer you will get involved with, create and develop new ideas!
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly scaling development team and you will be building and maintaining a suit of very successful websites. You will be working across multiple teams collaborating in an agile environment to ensure the best possible products are created.
Responsibilities and expectations:
Build and maintain the UK desktop and mobile client-side platforms.
Seeing and taking design ideas through to production
Participate in estimation, planning, design and ideas stages
You will need commercial experience with a mix of the following technologies:
- React JS experience in a commercial environment is essential.
- Strong web development skills with experience in hand-coding HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/jQuery/jQ.Mobi, Angular JS, Gulp.
- XSLT 2.0 & XML.
- Strong command of cross-browser development techniques.
- Excellent understanding of, and keen interest in, usability issues.
- Version control, e.g. Mercurial, TortoiseHG.
- Database experience with MySQL would be great.
- Testing Frameworks e.g. Junit/Mockito, Selenium etc.
These guys are a Java house so, experience with server-side technologies (Java) – would be a real nice to have, along with a familiarity with the MVC website architecture and single page app architectures.
