They're looking for a mid weight Back-End Developer who specialises in Python and Django to join their growing company in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

 

At the moment, they have an extensive portfolio of projects on Python Django in development, which are being further improved in support and in the pipeline moving forward. They're looking for someone who is keen to get stuck-in and get hands-on.

 

To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong mix of the following:

 

  • Experience in a Software Development role
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Python and Django
  • Good working knowledge of SQL, Hibernate, GIT/SVN, Ant/Maven
  • You’ll need a strong consideration for maintainability, security and scalability
  • Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment

 

Bonus points for:

 

  • Experience of working with REST APIs
  • Experience with multi-regional websites that require translations and internationalisation
  • Any experience with cloud services such as Amazon and Google
