BID MANAGER

BID MANAGER (JO013014) Versailles, France

Our client, a leading French owned weapons manufacturer company, is looking for a “BID MANAGER” to work under the following:

Function:

  • The Bid Manager is responsible to produce the documentation relating to the Bid and to ensure the quality of the produced documentation in relation with the Head of Bid & Sales.
  • The Bid Manager should be able to interact with different Global Military Business and to take into consideration different culture and objective.
  • Complete bids and tenders and Coordinate on-time proposal delivery
  • Determine the scope and timeline of new bids.
  • Lead and coordinate the preparation of the bid ensuring

that other contributors provide information on time to the correct standard answering the client’s needs

  • Perform analysis, interpretation and outline of the RFP
  • Ensuring that the most appropriate and relevant solutions for each bid are effectively pulled together from all parts of the business
  • Carry out research, internally and externally as required, to support bid, proposal
  • Consultant need who has experience in military tendering internationally Eastern European countries
  • The consultant need to have experience as a Bid Manager in the Defense Sector
  • The Person must be very independent, and this is a Bid Manager defense experience that the client is seeking

Knowledge / Skills Required

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Military Background
  • Minimum experience of 10 years as Bid Manager
  • The candidate must be primarily a field person.
  • Proactive and open mind who seeks to learn and grow
  • Good knowledge in the Defense sectors and Materials
  • Extensive Bid writing experience
  • Technical awareness including an understand of project and service-based delivery solutions
  • Able to work to tight timescales particularly when developing proposals
  • Good organization skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Team and action oriented, proactive in prioritizing own work load and assigned areas of responsibility to others.
  • Team player / team spirit 

Educational Background    

  • BSc in sales or business (preferred) / Military Qualifications
