Role Profile
My client, an innovative manufacturing business, is looking for a Production & Supply Planner to join their growing team based in Derbyshire. This is a business which is developing rapidly with a strong presence across their sector, leading the market in innovative manufacturing methods and techniques.
The role will be accountable for;
- Customer focus, liaising with customers and clients when required
- Motivation of a team of people in order to meet production targets
- A clear focus and plan to maximise production efficiency, ensuring the plan is met on an hourly / daily / weekly basis
- Accountable for inventory levels across the operation.
- Continuous improvement and implementation of factory procedures
- Ensure paperwork and systems are completed and accurate.
- Monitor, control and minimise wastage
About You
To be successful in your application, the below experience and skills are essential;
- Experience within a manufacturing environment in a Production / Supply Planning role
- Management and control of a 24/7 production schedule
- Excellent MRP & MPS experience
- Supplier negotiations
- Knowledge and experience of leading or applying Lean principles
