Role Profile
My client, a well established manufacturing business across the UK, is looking for an experienced Packaging Manager to join their growing operation in the Greater Manchester Location. The position will be accountable for the full life cycle of the packaging function, working directly with the Technical Manager and a Packaging Technologist, as well as continual liaison with other departments within the business.

Strong leadership skills are a vital attribute for the successful candidate with a strong focus on continuous improvement and supplier relationships.

About You
The successful candidate will have experience within a fast-paced food production operation. You must be able to clearly demonstrate how you create a culture of engagement within your teams and be able to show clear examples of developing people.
Additionally, the below skills and experiences are essential;

• Ability to work across all levels of colleague and departments, continuously liaising with the senior team.
• HACCP
• Continuous Improvement experience across an FMCG distribution operation.
• Commercially focused, with clear achievements against budgets / KPI's.
• Project Management experience
