Profile
My client, a leading manufacturing business in the UK, are looking to appoint a Production Supervisor for their night shift operation. The business is looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, driven and eager to progress their career to join and help achieve the company goals over the short, medium and long term.

The role is responsible for the day to day management of the production team, ensuring targets and objectives are met in order to achieve customer SLA's whilst working in a safe, compliant environment.

The accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to;

  • Drive performance of team members, giving direction and feedback to aid good performance
  • Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient work place is maintained at all times
  • Achieve the required company quality standards ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Drive OEE to achieve company targets whilst working within budget.
  • Ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are monitored and targets achieved
  • Liaise and coordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning production planning and resource/skill allocation
  • Ensure all external and internal auditory standards and improvement requirements are met

About You
The successful candidate will fit the below profile;

  • Preferably degree qualified or alternatively A Levels, ONC, City & Guilds level 3, BTec National Diploma Level 3, IVQ Technician Diploma or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification.
  • Proven track record within manufacturing environment
  • Confident & engaging leader with experience managing large production teams in a challenging manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with and lead teams
  • Able to display the ability to form strong relationships with colleagues across the operation
  • Understands customer expectations and is aware of the impact of failure to deliver SLAs and the cost to the business or poor quality

Remuneration
£30,000 - £35,000pa + Benefits.
