Warehouse Team Leader
£30,000 - £37,000pa + Benefits

Role Profile
Our client, a well-known UK manufacturer & distributor, are looking to appoint experienced Warehouse Team Leaders for their site based in Surrey. You will be responsible for the daily man management and operation of the warehouse and dispatch function while maintaining best in class customer service. Additionally, you will be responsible for;

• Managing department performance, quality, cost and compliance while ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
• Managing the flow of Goods In, Pick and Goods Out
• Co-ordinate the in-house delivery vehicles and drivers on a daily basis
• Planning and allocation of work using planning systems ensuring on time, in full delivery.
• Reviewing and improving productivity through effective provision of planning information.
• Incident and accident investigation.
• Liaison between operational departments ensuring continual smooth processes.

You will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse and will be expected to have a hands-on approach.

About You
The successful candidate will have experience within a fast-paced distribution operation, ideally within an manufacturing / automotive environment. You must be able to clearly demonstrate how you engage within your teams and have a hands on approach to work.
