Role Profile
We have an opportunity for experienced Warehouse Team Leaders, Supervisors and Shift Managers to take a step up in their career and join an established business as an Assistant Warehouse Manager. The role requires someone who shows great leadership qualities and is able to motivate and develop teams in a busy environment, with a positive attitude and approach to helping run the operation.
You will be responsible for leading the operation including the Goods In / Out, Picking, Stock Control and all associated paperwork and reports.
This position is Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30 with flexibility expected during busier periods.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience within a fast-paced distribution operation and must be able to clearly demonstrate how you create a culture of engagement within your teams.
Additionally, the below skills and experiences are essential;
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations.
- Have a strong focus on team engagement and development.
- Previous experience managing teams within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of jobs across the operation.
- Good Health & Safety legislation knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Driven and energetic.
