Role Profile
My client, a well established manufacturing business across the UK, are looking for an experienced, operationally focused Production Manager for their growing site in the Llanelli area. The position will be accountable for the management and leadership of the production areas across the site, focusing heavily on continuous improvement and process flow, as well as continual liaison with other departments such as Planning and Quality Control.
Strong leadership skills are a vital attribute for the successful candidate, holding accountability for a diverse, growing team, with continued development and coaching being a critical part of the role.
This is a 24 hour operation and as such hours of work for this role will be between 6am and 11pm.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience within a fast-paced, high volume production operation. You must be able to clearly demonstrate how you create a culture of engagement within your teams and be able to show clear examples of developing people.
Additionally, the below skills and experiences are beneficial but not all essential;
- Ability to work across all levels of colleague and departments, continuously liaising with the senior team.
- IOSH
- HACCP
- Continuous Improvement experience across an FMCG distribution operation.
- Commercially focused, with clear achievements against budgets / KPI's.
- IT Literate
