Role Profile
Our client, a well know UK business, are looking to appoint a Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator who has in depth experience of purchasing materials with SAP and managed the additional planning, forecasting and scheduling.
The main accountabilities for this position are;
- Ensure source of supply, PIR’s and vendor rebates are set up correctly
- Control and collect all requirements for consumables and materials for production
- Manage scheduling and shipping documents along with bulk freight and delivery schedules
- Work across various in house departments, liaising with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Support & lead departmental training
About You
The successful candidate will have worked in fast paced environment previously with proven experience purchasing and coordinating movements of materials using SAP.
Additionally, the below skills are essential;
- Purchasing experience within SAP
- Experienced in an FMCG Manufacturing environment
- PC Literate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Organised, methodical and strong attention to detail
