Automated Test Analyst – Manual / Automated / Selenium /Solihull
Solihull - £30,000 - £35,000
Established Software house urgently require experienced Automated Software Test Analyst with at least 1 year’s automation testing experience to join their team based in the centre of Solihull.
This role will play a key part in validating IT projects, contributing, maintaining and developing technical test artefacts and domains.
The Automation tester will:
Perform functional tests solo and user acceptance tests, using test runs created within Microsoft Test Manager / Team Foundation Server
Perform Regression testing using existing Test Cases
Produce formal Test Cases, and create and maintain test scripts both automated and manual
Perform end to end Scenario Validation
Write, maintain and update testing documentation and document and control the testing process.
Undertake Bug Reporting within Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Develop Technical Skillset of the overall Test Function.
Maintaining, adapting and developing Automated (UI/API) Test packs
Able to leverage selenium against cloud based Mobile / Cross Browser testing
Develop technical knowledge in the software development domain
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience of working with Selenium, SOAP-UI
Minimum 3 years' experience of software testing and ideally at least 1 years' experience of Automation Testing
Good SQL knowledge
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Able to quickly write robust tests
Any experience of the following would be highly beneficial:
Previous experience of working within a DevOps, Continuous Integration / Testing environment
Previous experience of working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, using Agile Software Development Methodology, SCRUM
Financial services experience desirable but not essential

ISTQB Foundation - Certified Tester
ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst / ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst
