This senior management position combines the roles of large team management with metrics driven operational leadership. Responsibilities include: business management, financial oversight, management of ad operations & trafficking processes, post-sales ad integrations and design, and affiliate publisher relations. Vice President of Media Operations oversees a team of over fifty employees with the following direct reports: Director of Ad Operations, Director of Affiliate Account Management, Associate Director of Post-Sales Ad Integration, and Head of Design Operations. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

The successful candidate is highly detail oriented, analytical, and innovative with a proven track record building and managing high performance teams in highly process driven functions. This is an ideal role for candidates looking to expand on existing operational and business management experience in
interactive/online media.

Responsibilities Include:
Directly manage department managers within a post-sales operations environment.
Oversee all post-sales operations including ad operations and trafficking processes, inventory and campaign lifecycle management, execution of integrated marketing campaigns, and affiliate publisher relations.
Oversee the teams responsible for successful campaign delivery. This includes, but is not limited to: specifications, submission, quality control, ad trafficking, debugging, IO fulfillment, discrepancy management, and inventory needs management across multiple properties and platforms.
Serve as main point of escalation for business and technical issues related to ad functions including rich media, technology vendors, demand partners, supply partners.
Manage budgets, staffing, outsourcing, new technology adoption, and customer service efficiency, according to best practices and overall company goals.
Drive ongoing operational efficiencies through process optimization, automation, and business rules.
Collaborate in a cross functional environment with sales, finance and technology teams
Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team

The Vice president of Media operations should have the following skills but not limited to:
Extensive experience leading and managing a team of management-level direct reports with solid background in performance management, coaching &development, process improvement, critical decision making, and moralebuilding.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to motivate employees and write policies with direct implementations to the core business.
Strong analytical and budget skills to perform high level financial planning in a lean environment with multimillion dollar forecasting.
Outstanding administrative, management and personnel recruitment skills. A strong focus on HR related matters is extremely important.
Strong experience managing/negotiating vendors contracts related to his/her departments with a large liability within the company
Uncompromising integrity, character and intellectual honesty; with the courage and conviction to speak their position.
Extensive operations leadership and management experience with 10+ years in the online industry in process-oriented operations.
Previous senior leadership experience (a minimum of 5 years) managing a significant segment of a complex or large online company.
MBA a plus.
