Our client is passionate about all things web and media, including Web Design & Web Development, Social Media Management and Marketing.


As an integral part of the development team you will be responsible for delivering first class web websites and mobile apps across a diverse range of projects.


We are looking for a dynamic forward thinking person to fill this exciting role that will be working on a range of client projects as well as our own services.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing websites from concept through to completion. Along the way you should be able to:



  • Communicate with clients on a professional level

  • Develop design concepts into completed solutions

  • Organise and implement projects to deadline and on budget


Your skills, qualifications and experience:


To be the right fit for the role you should have the following qualifications or competencies:



  • At least 5 years experience working in the industry

  • Have a genuine interest in developing cutting-edge websites and mobile applications

  • Proficiency in PHP and MySQL and managing servers

  • Have a full understanding of AJAX, JQuery

  • Expertise in hand coding accessible websites using XHML and CSS

  • Experience in building websites with a CMS

  • A good understanding of the principles of SEO

  • Degree in Computer Science/related degree a bonus


Your responsibilities:


Work in a structured support environment incorporating:



  • Analysis, design fixes, coding standards, code review, quality assurance, source code management and documentation

  • Adhere to policies, procedures, guidelines and best practice initiatives

  • Contribute to the team by sharing new ideas and technologies in meetings

  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure client satisfaction

  • Communicate with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure client satisfaction

  • Ability to identify, diagnose and fix custom code

  • Overseeing and encouraging learning with less experienced developers
