A well established food business are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team based near Bridlington. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be required to work a night shift working either Saturday - Monday 12 hour shifts or Sunday to Thursday 8.5 hour shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a successful engineering team within a market leading business.

As the Maintenance Engineer working nights you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out planned maintenance activities according to the PPM schedule.
• Stripping down production machinery ready for deep clean and rebuild machinery.
• Working with stores to ensure spare parts are in stock ready for PPM's.
• Working with the engineering manager to ensure schedules and reporting are updated.

I am really keen to see your CV if you have previous mechanical and electrical Maintenance Engineer experience and be happy working on PPM's outside of core production hours.  Be qualified to a minimum of level 3 within an engineering discipline and ideally have 16th/17th or 18th edition electrical qualifications.   This role is advertised at £32k, this is made up of £31k basic and any additional overtime.  The successful Maintenance Engineer will be a self-starter, able to work permanent nights and be proactive.
