Delivery Consultant (2997) Butler, Ohio

Summary

Responsible for overall delivery of solutions based on Cisco networking and Unified Communications. Focuses on post sales implementation and consulting services and requires strong technical and customer interaction skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains current knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications technologies (Communication Manager, Unity Connection, UCCX, Presence, etc.)
  • Maintains current knowledge of Cisco Network technologies (Catalyst switches, Routers, Nexus, etc.)
  • Maintains current and thorough knowledge of relevant complementary technologies to Cisco, such as network based faxing, video, and call recording.
  • Works with Logicalis’ customers to evaluate network health and capacity planning.
  • Implements overall solution for customers, including development of design documents, such as dial plans, network designs, and testing plans.
  • Provides knowledge transfer and documentation to Logicalis’ customers upon project completion.
  • Implements connectivity to legacy customer systems, particularly legacy TDM PBX systems (Avaya, Nortel, etc.).
  • Responsible for product evaluation, process improvement, and practice refinement activities on occasion.
  • Work with team members and mentors in collaborative fashion.

Education and/or Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Experience:

  • Strong Cisco technical background – particularly around Unified Communications technologies.
  • 3 years experience with implementation and support of Cisco Networking and/or IP Telephony solutions.
  • Experience with implementation of Cisco Security and Cisco Wireless solutions a plus.
  • Experience with legacy PBX integration desired.
  • Strong consulting background focused on Cisco solutions preferred.
May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

One or more of following Cisco certifications or equivalent required:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA Voice)
  • Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
  • Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)
Other Skills and Abilities

  • Outstanding oral, written, and technical/business communication skills.
  • Strong technical and customer interaction skills required.
  • Must be able to multi-task and accommodate requests from multiple customers and Logicalis Account Executives.
  • Must be able to have business level conversation with customers and assist them in deploying solutions to meet business requirements.
