• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or management discipline; or 8-10 years as QA manager or QE in manufacturing environment

• Thorough understanding of quality systems and problem solving
• Strong managerial, analytical and written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure to mechanical and/or electronics inspection techniques
• Good computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and data base controls

Responsibilities include:
• Develop, implement and monitor plans and procedures of Quality Management, including ISO 9001, AS 9100, customer requirements and established criteria

• Work with suppliers, the company’s operating departments and customer representatives to assure conforming products within scheduled commitments
• Analyze and report on supplier performance trends and corrective action measures
• Analyze and distribute reports on cost of quality data
• Develop and manage an effective corrective action system
• Participate with Engineering, Operations and Marketing in the development of new products
• Define, direct and delegate assignments and responsibilities, review performance for department employees
