Role Profile
A well established, market leading retail business is looking to appoint an experienced Warehouse Team Manager for their depot based in the North West. The overall purpose of the role is to provide support to the management team in order to ensure a consistent, smooth and efficient warehouse operation. Also, you will be required to;
• Develop and motivate your team to achieve depot and company KPI’s.
• Maximise the use of resources in a cost effective manner.
• Deal with any Health and Safety issues that may arise.
• Provide statistical data to the management.
Skills & Experience
It is essential that you have previous warehouse supervisory experience in an FMCG distribution environment. You will be confident in managing a large team in a busy FMCG environment and you must be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to warehouse management. Experience of dealing with Trade Unions is essential, as is an understanding of health and safety requirements.
