Android Developer - E-commerce Company
My client is an ambitious company in a very exciting sector. They are located in Sandyford and they are currently on the lookout for an Android Developer who loves working amongst passionate people who can take a project which is impossible and complete it within an unrealistic timeframe.
The Director is an out of the box thinker, his interview techniques will be the most peculiar you have ever experienced. The main thing my client is looking for apart from a strong Android stack, is a great team fit. You must be able to enjoy the craic and provide input. They do not want someone who will blend in and be forgotten about they want to know your always there providing alternative suggestions etc.
Within the role itself you will be required to take the company to new heights their product is across 3 platforms. You will be required to work on the Android side of things independently, designing and building Android applications based on both internal and external requirements.
To be considered for this career changing opportunity you must have:-
- Computer science Degree or similar
- 2+ years’ hands on experience with Java or C++.
- 2-3 years’ experience developing Android Applications
- Experience working the full SDLC
- Other mobile development experience with iOS or Windows Phone is a major advantage but not essential.
- Experience consuming web services (REST/SOAP)
- Processing data (JSON/ XML)
- Experience working in a fast paced environment, where things may change very quickly.
- Keen eye for detail
