An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Derbyshire County Council. This is a temporary Childrens Social Worker within the Child Protection Team based in Glossop . In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.
Within this role you will be working with children and their families on protection plans, looked after children and children in need reviews and assessments, you will do this with a child centred outlook in order to provide the best possible social intervention. You will be overseeing Child Protection care proceedings, attending court, providing court reports, attending LAC reviews and attending case conferences. Overall you will work towards achieving the best possible outcome for the Children in Need and Looked after Children.
For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be HCPC registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting, to support your ability for this role.
