An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Derbyshire Council . This is a temporary Children's Social Worker role within the MASH team. In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.

Within this role you will responsible for taking details from members of the public and professionals via telephone gathering accurate information from databases, seeking consent from families for further checks and complete these checks, analysing the data received and making further recommendations to outside local agencies. You are required to represent MASH team at meetings with agencies and assist with presentations about MASH and referral process.

For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be HCPC registered. Furthermore, you will have at least five years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting, experience of chairing formal and complex meetings, some experience in Child Protection and working with the LAC system and overall knowledge in Child Protection and Looked after children.
