An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Nottingham City Council. This is a temporary Social Worker role within the Whole Life Disability Team. In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.
The Whole Life Disability supports those with learning and physically disabilities throughout their lives ensuring a smooth movement between services. The team works closely with community support, residential homes and hospitals in order to help with the support of citizens. Within this role you will be helping with the supervision of Social Workers within the team, making sure they work within the right framework ensuring the appropriate action it taken in regard to the individuals needs. You will also ensure an effective service is delivered across a range of departments in regard to children in need and their families, carrying a small but complex caseload. Overall you will be working close with the Team Manager to ensure the best possible practise is delivered to Children and Young People.
For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be HCPC registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting, to support your ability for this role.
