An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Norfolk County Council. This is a temporary Social Worker role within the Looked after Children Team. In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.

In this role you will be identifying the needs of children and young people and carry out established planning to meet their needs. Within this role you will be responsible for producing in depth analytical assessments for complex cases, you will also be chairing formal multi- disciplinary meetings. For this role you will also need to have knowledge of Child Protection, Looked after Children and Child in Need Social Work.

For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be HCPC registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting, to support your ability for this role. You will also need to have a understanding of carrying out Children in Need Assessments.
