The Role:
Bloomberg LP is seeking an editor to oversee a newsletter on bankruptcy aimed at financial professionals. The editor will define a vision for the publication, working with a team of editorial and design colleagues in the growing newsletter group. Candidates should have solid previous experience writing or editing financial news and information, including professional experience covering the legal system and credit markets relevant to the topic.

The ideal candidate will have proven news judgment, writing and editing abilities and an understanding of the news and data needs of a niche newsletter audience. The candidate should be able to demonstrate an ability to find and format data to illustrate stories. This is a growth opportunity to create a new product for someone knowledgeable and passionate about financial news.

Requirements:
- Proven news judgment, writing and editing abilities and an understanding of the news and data needs of a niche newsletter audience is essential.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is essential
- Previous business journalism experience is essential
- The person should have strong Excel skills; and preferably basic knowledge of InCopy/InDesign.
