Our client is currently looking to expand their team of reach and counterbalance operators for their Calgary 3PL Distribution Centre.
Must have a minimum of 6 months experience and be aware of proper safety procedures when operating a reach truck and stand-up counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.
Shift flexibility is preferred.
- Operating reach and/or sit-down counterbalance forklifts with precision and safety in a clean kept warehouse.
- Unloading product and navigating warehouse to stock products in their proper location.
- Ability to follow proper procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate machinery
- Receive shipments
- Load and unload products
- Package and prepare product for shipment
- Organize and put away products for storing
- Some customer service
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Responsible for working safely and efficiently
- Maintain team atmosphere
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience on a reach truck and/or sit down counterbalance forklift
- Own transportation is an asset
- Must have clean criminal record
- Ability to work in 3 degree environment ( as this facility is cold storage )
- Safety conscious and reliable employee
- Steel Toed work boots
