Site Agent - Permanent

TSA are currently seeking a Site Agent to work for a major construction / infrastructure company on a permanent basis located in the West Midlands within the Civils sector of the company.

Summary:

• The successful candidate will have extensive experience of  infrastructure projects including heavy civils and refurbishment works who wishes to progress their career in a company guaranteeing support to them.

Responsibilities:

• Management of Section Engineers, Site Engineers, Section Managers and Foreman
• Experience delivering civil engineering schemes within a rail environment
• Organising plant and ordering materials
• Addressing issues raised by staff or the Public and other interested parties and inform of issues
• Drive construction phase of the project
• Support schemes agent to compile works packs including where appropriate H&S Information and documentation and liaise with clients and designers
• Carry out monthly audits and joint audits with SHE advisor
• Manage Quality & Environmental plans on site
• Control of contract costs

Requirements:

• Experience in heavy civils works and utilities schemes
• Degree educated in an Engineering discipline OR equivalent experience
• CSCS qualified
• First Aid qualified
• Full UK driving licence
• Civil engineering and construction experience
• Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
• Min 3 years experience as agent / site manager
• Technical background
• Good IT skills
• Ability to write RAMS
• Cost conscious
• Programming skills
• Experience in groundworks / pipework / flood defence / piling / FRC
