Our client, an investment firm located in Boston, is looking for a Portfolio Analyst to join their team. Responsibilities include: participate in the quarterly valuation process by managing the valuation calculation input data and facilitating the completion of valuation calculations by the investment teams; monitor and input quarterly financial and operational information for all equity portfolio companies; manage the portfolio monitoring database used to track and report on individual portfolio companies; work with the team to develop additional quarterly and annual reporting for both internal and external presentations; and support the development of analytical tools that facilitate the review of portfolio performance. The ideal candidate will have: a Bachelor’s degree (accounting or finance) from an undergraduate institution with a record of academic achievement; working knowledge of financing reporting and GAAP required; driven and articulate with strong interpersonal skills; experience with using software tools or excited and open to learn; 1-2 years of relevant experience (CPA or FP&A); and strong excel and power point skills or excited and open to learn.
