A prominent software company is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join their thriving team!!  This role will primarily be responsible for analyzing and reporting on actual project performance versus budget including recommendations for operational improvements; leading a structured financial planning and forecasting process; developing a comprehensive monthly and quarterly reporting package for executive management and the BOD; driving weekly and monthly KPI analysis; understanding and identifying key drivers/metrics for revenue growth, profitability, cost structure and value creation; preparing monthly or quarterly executive management summaries; partnering with Global Support, Sales, Marketing, and IT organizations providing variance analysis and supporting ad hoc requests; assisting with driving financial planning and analytical systems requirements and implementation; supporting external audits as required and participate actively in implementing and maintaining compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements; and providing ad-hoc analytics for the CFO and executive management team as required. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance – MBA a plus; a minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial analysis; ability to synthesize large amounts of data and identify trends and drivers; proven track record of meeting reporting deadlines; be detail oriented and well organized; able to work independently; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change; and have financial systems experience with the ability to propose reporting solutions.
