Our client, a company located in Boston, is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: prepare and review financial statements for accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all relevant information; compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts; prepare month-end general ledger journal entries and performs reconciliation of general ledger accounts; perform analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts to aid in the review of accounting activity for the period; and assist with establishing, modifying, documenting, and coordinating implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. The ideal candidate will have: a Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Accounting or Finance; strong understanding of general accounting and financial analysis; excellent verbal, written communication skills; 3 - 5 years of General Ledger Accounting experience; excellent analytical and problem solving skills; advanced experience with Excel and Microsoft Office programs; and strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
