JAVA DEVELOPER - GROOVY AND GRAILS - JAVA - MEDIA

My client, a retail banking organisation, is looking for an Agile Groovy Developer to contribute to a major Agile transformation. The Java Developer will have strong experience with Groovy, Spring, Hibernate and working with the Agile Methodology (Scrum, XP, TDD) however will also have a strong personality able to work in a vibrant team. Due to this, you must have communication skills of the highest level and have significant experience in working in corporate environments.

This suitable Groovy Developer will be working on major projects and being an evangelist for the Agile methodology whilst working on the main J2EE skillstack (Spring Hibernate). As the role develops you will have the chance to work on more advanced technologies and in a advanced agile team utilising KanBan and XP. 

The candidate will be taking a lead role in the development team and therefore experience with Groovy at a high end level will be strongly desired. The key technologies required for the Groovy / Grails Developer position are: Groovy Grails Experience with versioning and build tools - SubVersion; Maven; ANT Excellent Java J2EE and Grails skills XML / SOAP, Web services / SOA highly desirable
