ROLE: GEOTECHNICAL / GEOMECHANICAL + TUNNEL DESIGN Team Leader
CLIENT: HIGHLY RESPECTED NORTHERN EUROPEAN CONSULTING CO.
PROJECT: Multiple mega highways tunnels/Underground structures - INDIA & INTL
LOCATION: New Delhi /Europe and Nepal – office and site work
SALARY NEGOTIABLE Neg including housing allowance
Level - 5 -12 yrs post grad experience#
Languages: English essential, German, Italian or French would be a bonus but NOT essential
My client is a world leading and highly respected European consulting co, which has a number of highly challenging mega tunnel projects in India.
They are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with strong experience in Tunnelling/underground works and design. You will be doing
• Geotechnical investigation, in-situ and laboratory tests
• Interpretation of geotechnical parameters for rock and soil
• Design of rock support measures of tunnels in rock and/or soil formations
• Stability calculation of slopes and design retaining structures
• Use of geotechnical software (analytical and finite element analysis packages)
Ideally the candidate would be available for Intl assignment in Nepal and Europe as well
Should possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
