We are looking for professional sales people with a strong mechanical / technical aptitude for a permanent contract based in Middlesbrough

RMS are acting as an employment business to recruit an Internal Technical Sales Solution executive to join our client’s internal sales team. Our international client has a strong reputation in the market place and are a leading manufacturer and supplier to the Chemical and Petrochemical, Oil and gas and power industries.

Purpose

To support and take ownership for the maintenance and development of multiple business accounts with the aim of increasing revenue growth through quality service.

Duties

  • Reaching out to exisiting clients with updates on products
  • Building relationships with decision makes
  • Web conferencing and video conferencing
  • Communicating with client, colleagues and management via telephone, email and mail
  • Plan and prioritise sales activities and customer/prospects
  • Account Management of a portfolio customers
  • Researching leads
  • Meeting company’s sales targets and objectives
  • Offering and optimiseing a quality service
  • Updating the company’s databases
  • Meeting and achieving targets
  • Provide market and competitive information to members of the business development team
  • Plan account coverage in the most effective and economical manner
  • Liaising with other departments to create appropriate and professional relationships
  • Adhering to company compliance

Essential Criteria

 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English

  • Experience of B2B sales
  • Strong backgreound of working in a terget driven environment
  • The ability to build relationships
  • Strong communication skills (listening, verbal fluency),
  • Confident in influencing & negotiating skills
  • A good aptitude for mechanicl or technical products
  • Must be proactive and have an adaptable approach and resilience
  • Professional appearance and manner
