RMS are supporting one of our Manufacturing Clients in recruiting a Cost Analyst based in Washington
Responsible for supporting the cost planning group, which has exciting plans for business expansion through bidding for new business. The role is a challenging one, working to tight deadlines in a fast moving environment you will communicate widely to gather information form across the company and compile information into complex cost models
Responsibilities
- Cost model creation to support new business bid activity
- Creating, maintaining and reporting of new product cost and profit to support Global & regional milestones
- Profitability analysis of current products and regular reporting of status and concerns
- Regularly reviewing & managing product intercompany transfer pricing in line with global cost management rules
- Actively support cost reduction activities
To be considered for this position you must be educated to Degree level
- Working knowledge within a product costing role
- Ideally from an electronics background
- Broad awareness of manufacturing processes and associated cost drivers
- High level of numeracy with strong business awareness
- Strong team player and ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver against tight deadlines
- IT literate with “EXPERT” knowledge of MS office – Excel
- Willingness to travel to support business demands across Europe and overseas bases
