Castle Industrial & Construction are currently looking for experienced Cooks to work in a production environment in the Malton area for immediate starts with full time ongoing hours. Our client is easily accessible via public transport from the Scarborough and surrounding areas.
Offering good rates of pay and overtime rates and shift premiums.
Your duties as a Cook will be to:
- Work in a kitchen and kitchen preparation environment
- Making fresh sauces following onsite processes
- Prepare ingredients
- Follow approved recipes
- Cook to a large scale
- Work as part of a team
To be considered for the role of the Cook you will ideally:
- Be comfortable working in a kitchen/production environment
- Have the ability to work to the required pace and accuracy
- Have previous experience in a food/ cook/ chef related role
Full training is given for this role over an 8-week period. The ideal candidate will need a good eye for details and be reliable and committed to an ongoing career opportunity.
Cooks can benefit from a full-time hour contract with pay rates above National Living Wage, working on a shift pattern of 4 on & 4 off. We have 2 shifts available to choose from to suit your personal circumstances:
Day Shifts: 6am-6pm, working on a 4 on & 4 off shift pattern: Pay rate £8.30ph, overtime offered at £12.45ph & £16.60ph
OR
Night Shifts: 6pm-6am, working on a 4 on & 4 off shift pattern: Pay rate £8.30ph, plus a shift premium of £10.65per night shift, overtime offered at £12.45ph & £16.60ph
