Castle Industrial and Construction Division are currently looking for Team Leaders for our client a leading food manufacturer in the Malton area who produce a wide range of produce for leading supermarkets across the UK. Due to continued expansion they are looking for additional Team Leaders to join the team on a permanent basis to supervise the workforce and ensure production targets are met.

Your duties as a Team Leader will include;

• Supervise a team of between 8-10 operatives
• Ensure all staff are fully trained
• Effectively utilising staff and materials ensuring production targets are met
• Ensuring the companies high standards are adhered to at all times
• Ensuring all health and safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to
• Accurately recording data throughout the shift and communicating information to colleagues at all levels
• Standing in for the shift supervisor as required

To be considered for the role of the Team Leader you will;

• Have 1-2 years’ experience of leading a team
• Have a good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Deliver a high standard of leadership utilising continuous improvement skills
• Ability to analyse and solve problems
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude
• Ideally have previous experience of working in a food manufacturing environment

Salary 20K – 21K per annum

Hours Monday – Friday rotating shift pattern, 6.00am – 2.00pm / 2.00pm – 10.00pm
