Castle Industrial & Construction are looking for a Warehouse Assistant for a company based in Malton.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing stores environment.
The position is available for an immediate start.
A valid Fork Lift Truck licence is highly beneficial for this role.
Typical duties will be as follows:
- issue stock from stores to the production line
- locating new stock onto the shelves in stores from goods in
- picking and labelling goods for internal transfers
- updating computer system
- good housekeeping
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Be comfortable picking orders to a fast pace
- A Reach FLT certificate would be advantageous
- Can start from Wednesday 25th April
- Be able to get to the Malton area for allocated shift times
THE COMPANY:
Our client is a well-established and growing food manufacturer of pre-packed and chilled food products based in Malton and are seeking Production Operatives to join its expanding team.
The business partners directly with many well-known retailers to design, cook and package quality food products. Every day, they cook upwards of 150,000 delicious ready meals based on around 200 different recipes and counting and developing new ones all the time in partnerships with their customers. Their range includes: chilled and ambient ready meals; British, Chinese, Indian, Italian and Vegetarian cuisines, gluten and dairy free products, vegetable accompaniments, sauces and toddler food.
These are genuine temporary to permanent positions for the right candidate on completion of a successful probationary period.
THE BENEFITS:
Hours: Wednesday- Sunday 11am-7pm
Pay: £7.83 per hour - £15.66 per hour Overtime
